My friend and I had a morning at Windows on Wildlife last week. Never been to such a fab hide, complete with teas, coffees, comfy seats and a toilet! The amount of we saw was amazing and being able to be so close to them unseen is a huge bonus. Came away with far too many photos but what fun I have had looking at them all . Everything was extremely well organised by Dean and Steph and I thank them for a fab time . Hopefully will be back in the winter for some different birds. We recently enjoyed a fantastic Combination Day that featured both the woodland bird reflection pool and the chance to photograph mice, all in one outing. The was equipped with gimbals, making it much easier to capture photos. The seats were comfortable and adjustable in height. We also had access to tea and coffee facilities, a toilet, and even a heater, ensuring we were well taken care of. A walkie-talkie was provided for any assistance we might need. Dean shared valuable tips and insights throughout the day, showcasing his extensive knowledge. We were thrilled to capture stunning images of adorable and various bird species without disturbing the wildlife, and having the all to ourselves was a real treat. Just remember to bring extra camera batteries and memory cards. Windows on Wildlife truly exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and photographic opportunities. We highly recommend it; you won’t be disappointed! I had such a fantastic experience with Windows on Wildlife! Communication with Dean was from the start, and we were given clear instructions for the day itself. The care Dean shows for the is incredible, and it was such a fun session - particularly trying to keep up with them to get some good shots! I came away with lots of images I’m really happy with, and I’ll definitely be booking the climbing session again. Dean was throughout, and his knowledge of the really interesting. A 10/10 experience - thank you! Windows on Wildlife is an amazing experience for a photographer keen on nature. The clever pool, and the wide variety of it attracts, offer fantastic bird watching from the comfy hide. I was especially pleased with the woodpecker, jay and nuthatch. Then Dean does a brilliant job with the mice, laying on a beautiful array of natural props for them to climb. I can’t recommend it too highly. Highly recommend a visit here. Seriously, I would be booking monthly if I didn’t live over 3 hours away. Dean provides a wonderful pool surrounded by lots of interesting and natural perches for the to land on. I just booked the this time (previously booked the mouse experience which was incredible) and it is brilliant that I don’t have to share with other photographers. This means I can move to any of the three viewing windows. There are tea making facilities and a toilet next to the hide. I just had a wonderful day at Windows on Wildlife Hide. Dean was so helpful, and really looked after me. The was really cosy and clean, well stocked with drinks, and the toilet was a welcomed bonus. The reflection pool was brilliant, I was so excited to have lots of Jays and Woodpeckers, and also delighted to see a Nut Hatch, my first ever one! A variety of feeding posts and different perches for the birds, it was a set up. I am already planning a winter visit to get different birds! I had a combined day, so had a couple of hours with the mice, they were so cute! Well worth the money. THANK YOU :-) An amazing experience that exceeded my expectations.
