We had a one-night stay before we began our cycle-trip along the Loire. It is a place to start, with long-term parking facilities available and right along the canal. The room was clean and comfortable, with a view over the backyard. Dinner on the terrace was basic French cooking. Breakfast was as always: bread, jam and coffee. Being a non French speaking group we were still afforded wonderful service, to the extend of the staff driving us to our accommodation. Friendly and welcoming . Staff were superb , as was the food. Accommodation is basic but very clean and comfortable. Great and peaceful out of town location next to a canal that is full of fish and other wildlife - anglers bring your gear !
