Excellent lunch, the menu del dia was not written so the owner suggested we try a little of everything as tapas, fabulous food and friendly service, definitely recommended. A random search for late evening food along the road took us to this place. It is a local little taverna, and you literally get what you'd expect. Food was decent (especially if you like insane amounts of dressing on your salad), horrible wine (serious be careful unless you know what you're doing, or really don't know at all!), service was good, but it took forever to get the food. But it was also very busy and they appeared to deliver food all around the neighbourhood. All in all, just what we needed for the evening. Very nice place. As a tourist who came only once for a dinner I can rate the dishes of course, but something else was superb - the atmosphere and all the people around who came for the lunch. It was - I think - a really, everyday Spanish siesta time :) We'll keep it in my memory. Great restaurant, it's obviously the place all the locals go to in town. The pizzas are brilliant. We (a family of four) had crisps, a litre bottle of water, a bottle of wine, two beers, four Cokes and four large pizzas for €54. Fantastic value. We'll be visiting again! A good stop for tapas/beer/coffee to congratulate yourself on cycling up some challenging terrain. Excellent bar / restaurant.
