This lake is not far from leipzig. Actually pretty decent, it doesn't come close to the sea but it doesn't have that horrible mud/ swamp smell. There are a tone of boats and the beaches are sandy and completely decent. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that there is a place such as this located that's close to the city. Nice big lake, switable for swimming. Bus service. Best Place to spend evening A very nice area! Quiet, lots of green. And great place to have a swim. Even when you like skinny dipping! But bring some footwear for swimming because of the stones on the bottom. A truly beautiful lake for swimming!
