Now the outside is the best part. Inside has suffered from the 1750s until very recently. But work is afoot to try and get some of it back to its former glory. The exhibition is very good and gives you some idea of the splendour of the time when the place was in its prime. Hubertusburg is a wonderful castle and only 10min from the freeway. Easy access. A beautiful restored castle and an important point in the history of Saxony. We were here by chance and passing through when we decided to visit the location. In parts it is very well preserved or restored and looks very imposing. I have the feeling that the people on site are frustrated - for whatever reason. In a small exhibition a woman who talks about the history of this place tell us that because Germany's money is being spent on cycle paths in Peru, they are not getting money, which is fake news! There were only 2-3 other visitors there with us. They were very disparaging about "Wessis" - really bizarre when you consider that over €1,900,000,000,000 has already been spent on building up the former "DDR". There are facilities in the area that are in a much better position. And where a person who is not a local clearly feels much better. Super Location! Lost place A very nice castle in a cute town, it is well connected to other cities with some buses. I actually visited by accident, and was not disappointed. I only stayed outside the castle within the gardens. I'm not sure if it has any type of exposition inside. Looks great, guys. I believe it's gonna be a succes and it will be a majstro exhibistion for the whole world.
