The welcome at reception was super nice, customer-friendly and helpful, no question is too much here! There was even guidance to the room, access to the was via a staircase, only 2 windows are above ground level. There are plenty of free parking spaces outside at the rear of the hotel/restaurant. The is located in a quiet area. The was equipped with everything I needed for my stay, not very spacious, but effective. After the first exploration, go to the restaurant for a lunch menu. Visited the bar in the evening for a beer. The overnight stay in a great bed, followed by a well-organized breakfast, after which I took a shower, checked out and went home again. This is definitely worth repeating for me. Mixed feelings about this place. While the are recently renovated and are quite beautiful with comfortable beds and pleasant bedding, plus new bathrooms, lots of fundamentals are seriously wrong. The doors and walls are very thin, so you will hear absolutely everything through the night, including a mobile phone vibration alarm in some other (that's how thin the walls are!). The is built partially underground and lots of are in the basement which is quite unpleasant, when you are a guest. The windows are small and they are up in the ceiling, so you can see the feet of people passing by and car tyres from your window (most basement have a spectacular view of the parking lot car tyres at 160 EURO/night). The stairs leading to the basement are very steep, very uncomfortable to navigate, if you have suitcases. Late night returning guests stumble down the stairs very loudly, so you definitely will be woken up. Restaurant is closed on Sundays, so we did get to experience dining in this place. The only reason I booked a here was to attend a wedding at the adjacent castle. Apart from its convenient location there isn’t really much that justifies charging visitors €160 a night. Heavily overpriced! Happily surprised with the airconditioning in the and the quality of the breakfast buffet. I talked to two different receptionists. The male receptionist I talked to really understands the business. He is friendly, efficient and keeps his promises and makes sure the will be paid for. The female receptionist seemed to be a bit lost. Didn't work efficiently at all, forgot to put the keys to the guests names before laying all the keys on the counter . Then she left to go do something at the bar while leaving all keys on the counter, unsupervised. It was a bit chaotic and she didn't seem to have the situation under control. I hope the is making time to train her better. Super with super friendly Personal. The Breakfast is perfekt and the Ambiente feels like an SpaResort. Thank you so much and I will come back. We were delighted to find this little gem. The service is not only solid but also humorful and there is a sense of pride in what folks are doing. The was lovely (albeit Sunday morning was very early with the bells ;) we had the suite and could not have asked for more. Well appointed, very clean and newly furnished. I am giving this 5 stars mainly because it deserves a better rating for the ;), and is well worth the trip! Really cute hotel, were pretty small.
