Zoo Large zoo opened in 1954 with many species, plus farm animals, a train, pony rides & concessions. Park City park on 10 hectares with paths, French–style gardens & a greenhouse with exotic plants. Historical landmark This 1588 gate was the main entrance to the city & features symbols of Gdansk, Prussia & Poland. Basilica Brick-built, Gothic Roman Catholic place of worship, completed in 1502, with a royal chapel.
