Visited here in June 2024 with family. We stopped here for food when we were driving though Spain. The building was really cool with very interesting features, unfortunately the food and service did not match the building. I felt food was average and service was not quick. We had a good experience at Castillo de Izán. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. We tried the lechazo, the lechazo mollejas, and for dessert, the puff pastry tart with cream. The food was good! The lechazo was perfectly cooked, and the mollejas were a surprise. The dessert was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. We recommend this restaurant. We stopped there for a quick coffee on our road trip. The place is impressive, beautiful building, great views, car park... One thing that was annoying was the amount of wasps around the cars in the car park so be careful of you're allergic. Nice place for a lunch, really feeling like to be served in a castle 🤗 We had a good lunch here with excellent wine. The deserts were also very good! Made a stop here to charge our EV and have something to eat. It is very classy, probably a wedding venue. The food and service were both very good. We bought a few bottles of their Ribera del Duero wine. Overall, can be recommended. What a positive surprise! Food and service were great very memorable place in more ways than one. heartwarming food and hospitality, beautiful interior decoration and some more and more things in this place..! i was so sad cause the time when i was visit, they offer only drinks and snacks. (my mistake) I hope I would be there again someday when i visit spain next time ! thank you!
