Absolutely amazing place. visited on a warm June weekend afternoon to break up the drive from Kaiserslautern to the Black Forest, with my three kids nearly ages 6,4,2 years. The parking lot was easy to find,as was the path to the playground, was free, and had a ton of spaces but no garbages. I was blown away when we came into view of it. SO much to do! One of the coolest climbing towers I've ever seen, with endless obstacles to climb, as well as a water playground, climbing rope course, a netted swing, a hilly area which looked meant for dirt bikes, picnic tables, amazingly nice bathrooms, a beach (that was closed when we were there) and barbecue pits, not to mention the perfect amount of garbage cans (never thought I'd say that!). Bees were a bit troublesome but only where our food was. We could have spent the whole day there. Definitely bring food and water - didn't see anywhere to purchase in the immediate area - as well as a picnic blanket plus or minus chairs as there weren't a ton of tables. There are shady spots but much of the playground is sunny. It was busy but not overwhelmingly so given that it was a summer weekend day. Definitely hope to come back. Nice playing areas for children.
