We arrived here in a sunny day of February so to stop in a nice square and enjoy a drink. The snacks were from the house. The was good and fast. The cocktails were also good, juice very fresh. I didn’t try my friends coffees. Overall I liked it here. Absolutely tourist trap. Don't waste your money at this place. The worst place to have a drink in Polignano a Mare. Overpriced, poor service, very bad music and atmosphere. 8 euros for a small beer, 2,5 coperto per person. The Aperol is expensive and in return you hardly get any. The 0,4 beer looked like someone already drank off some of it. The waitress was nice but it took her/them(?) @ 10 minutes to get out the 2 ordered drinks. Cocktails are priced around €15 each, which feels reasonable for the setting. However, the taste didn’t quite meet expectations — they were overly intense and lacked balance. While the place looks the part, the drinks themselves were underwhelming. Decent for the vibe, but not for the flavor. Our young son urgently needed to use the restroom, and we kindly asked at the Six Star Bar if a small child could use their toilet. Even when we offered to pay, it was still an issue. We had actually planned to stay afterwards and enjoy a few cocktails, but the staff – especially the ladies at the entrance – were so arrogant and more focused on their fingernails than on the guests. This is not how hospitality should work. A place that treats potential guests like this should be avoided. Maybe then they’ll remember that their business depends on customers. Disappointing Experience – Not Worth It We were really looking forward to enjoying a drink here, but unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of frustrating. After waiting over 30 minutes just to receive our drinks, we quickly realized that was not a priority. The only server seemed more focused on clearing tables rather than actually taking new orders, which made the whole process painfully slow. Adding to the disappointment, we noticed that most tables were being served a selection of complimentary snacks, yet our table was completely overlooked. As for the drinks themselves—definitely overpriced for the area, poor in quality, and served in small measures that hardly justified the cost. To make matters worse, a 5€ charge was automatically added to our bill despite the fact that we barely received any at all! Thankfully, we had it removed, but the entire ordeal left a bad taste in our mouths. Having visited other spots in Polignano a Mare, this was, without a doubt, our worst experience. Sadly, not a place we would recommend or return to. Terrible! They don’t even clean their glasses, they take so long to get your order and everyone who is not italian gets treated much worse. So you apparently have to be an Italian to get a glass of water or good service. Not recommended!
