The treats taste as good as they look. We were spoilt for choice. Definitely the best bakery in Martina Franca with both sweet and savoury delicacies. We indulged in the pistachio, cream and mandarin, and chocolate, cream and orange sweet treats as well as a mini tuna sandwich - all were absolutely mouth watering and delectable. The owner couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating, she knew our order by the 3rd time and greeted us so warmly. Standing bar only so don’t expect a seat but that suited us perfectly to get on our way and enjoy the rest of our holiday. "I dropped by this city on my way to Matera without any expectations. However, I thought it was a really great idea for this trip. A woman who looked like a fancy boss helped us order drinks in English and recommended some bread. My mother and I were really satisfied with this place. The things we were having were great. Phenomenal fresh cakes and (especially the sfogliatelle)! We had coffees at the bar and take away cakes which were soon demolished in the piazza nearby! They have a room where you can sit down which is open in the afternoons. (The package of pastries/cakes in the photo cost 12 euros). Our favorite stop for pastries.
