Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. We've recently discovered Sciacca's main square (great view, perfect wedding spot) and were starving for a good ice cream. Unfortunately, we picked this authentic-looking bar over the more modern ones: we sat down and were nicely welcomed by a young boy who wanted our order immediately. After asking for some time, we ordered ice-cream and different types of granita. We specialize in local sweets and we could not appreciate any of them: my almond granita was not even a granita. The most ridiculous part was the payment: my husband faced a very nervous lady who started to shout at everybody in the pub because she couldn't find the sticky note of our order. We tried to give her the list, but she kept criticizing how poor everybody in that bar was. It was a really unpleasant scene. Great little bar. We were passing through on our way down the coast and just caught them before afternoon closing. They went out of their way to look after our group. Very nice and helpful. Recommend. Con dispiacere faccio notare la situazione imbarazzante al cameriere, ma senza scusarsi, dopo nemmeno cinque minuti si presenta con le bevande al a fianco. Per la seconda volta faccio notare che erano passati già 30 minuti e che il a fianco erano appena arrivati, ma nonostante ciò, nulla è cambiato. Faccio presente che era domenica mattina, ore 13:00, quasi tutti vuoti. Davanti a certi atteggiamenti ho riferito il tutto al gestore il quale si è scusato ed ho cambiato locale. Keurige zaak, schone tafels, twee terrassen, zowel naast de zaak als op het grote plein met uitzicht op zee. Wij genoten van een caffé latte met croissant pistache en een rosé met schiacciata (soort grote driehoek tosti met ham, mozzarella en tomaat, héérlijk). Absolute aanrader! Came here on a quiet weekday mid afternoon. Seemed like the only place open at the time. The arancini were very tasty. The atmosphere by the Piazza Mariano Rossi was very relaxing. We came back in the evening the next night and enjoyed a Gelato. Very friendly and helpful staff. Eravamo in tre, ci siamo seduti a un libero con l’intenzione di ordinare tre granite. Il cameriere si è avvicinato e, dopo una veloce accoglienza, ci ha detto che avrebbe pulito il solo se avessimo consumato. Una frase assurda, considerando che eravamo lì proprio per consumare! Purtroppo a Sciacca non è la prima volta che capitano episodi simili, dove sembra che il cliente venga visto più come un fastidio che come una persona da servire con cortesia. Un peccato enorme, perché il potenziale turistico della città è alto, ma atteggiamenti come questi danno un’immagine poco ospitale. In più, la granita ai gelsi servita in una coppa stile anni ‘80 era completamente congelata, con un retrogusto poco gradevole che ha reso l’esperienza ancora peggiore. Purtroppo devo lasciare una recensione negativa per una situazione molto spiacevole. Mentre stavamo andando in bagno, il personale ha *aperto le porte dei servizi occupati*, con persone *ancora dentro e nude*, senza nemmeno bussare o controllare. È stato un momento *molto imbarazzante e irrispettoso* per chi si trovava lì. Poi la cameriera ci ha rimproverato per essere entrati nel bagno senza salutare (cosa non vera) e perché dove amo consumare ( noi abbiamo detto esplicitamente che avremmo consumato dopo l’utilizzo della toilette). Un comportamento del genere *non è accettabile*, soprattutto in un luogo pubblico. Spero che il locale prenda provvedimenti e cambi personale.
