Definitely recommend! While staying in Sciacca for our summer holiday, we found Antica Focacceria Ingrao on Google Reviews and decided to try it – and it was such a choice. The are incredible: we tried the bolognese, ham & mozzarella, and pistachio. The ham & mozzarella and the bolognese were our favourites, but honestly all of them were delicious. They’re freshly made and fried right in front of you, which makes them extra special. We were even given some to taste while waiting, which was a lovely touch. The first time we took the away to the beach and ate them an hour later – still amazing – and the second time we had them fresh on the spot, which was even better. Service was very friendly and helpful, and although their English wasn’t perfect, communication was no problem. Prices were excellent too – really value. 10/10, highly recommend! I had such a here! The food was incredibly tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. The is definitely worth trying, it’s so flavorful, and the touch of lemon juice takes it to the next level. Highly this place! This little fast food joint in the outskirts of Sciacca is delightful beyond belief. I’d say it’s almost worth going out of your way to it. As soon as I entered the place Mr. Ingrao welcomed us with some free panelle. We got a pane cunzatu which was juicy, savory and crunchy. The sandwich was an explosion of umami too. We also tried the award winning arancina, which was textured to the heavens. Moreover, Mr. Ingrao truly seems passionate about his craft and a good conversationalist. Cherry on top is the price: 2 sandwiches, 1 arancina, 1 soda, and 1 cassatella as dessert for a mere 11.50 euros. Truly based. The pride of Sciacca. Absolutely amazing arancini. We had the bolognese and ham with mozzarella. We were offered the dessert and couldn’t refuse even though we were full. Even though we speak 0 Italian the man was very helpful What a delightful place!! We’ve been traveling around Sicily for a week and this was the place where we were best received, with care, attention, and dedication! We tried the Potato Croquette, it was crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside… flavorful… spectacular… I could eat thousands… and the best part… freshly fried in clean, clear oil… just perfect. Then we tried the Porchetta sandwich, succulent roasted pork with warm, crispy bread, tasty, surprisingly well-seasoned! To finish, we ordered two and that was the real show… they were breaded and fried to order, and I noticed that after frying they waited a few minutes before serving them to us, so when they arrived they were hot but gentle enough for a bite, with melted cheese and of flavor. We haven’t experienced this kind of care anywhere else in Sicily, only here! Not less important, we also tried the offered as a courtesy of the house… delicious and of flavor. If you want to Sicily, visit this place and enjoy its wonderful food and service!!! Traditional (Sciacca, Sicily), lovely hosts and local atmosphere to capture the taste and of a true authentic Italian delicacy; fantastic hostess serving up pistachio, cheese, and carbonara. Easy street parking. Excellent stop on the way to the beach. Best we had in whole Sicily. We added extra miles just to return and have it again. Arancina con pistachio is a must have. Other foods also amazing. Owner is This place is something else. Been there on one of those beautiful May late afternoons with my dear friend. Place was of life, locals coming and going, chatting with each other. We immediately felt comfortable. The owner took his time to come outside and talk to us. Got free goodies complimentary to our arancine. Food is brilliant there. Could not enough. One of those authentic places, so hard to see these days. My partner and I visited this place for lunch a couple of days ago and it has been by far our best food in Sicily so far! When we arrived it was busy and the atmosphere great, we met the owners who we asked to give us whatever was recommended and every single thing Miguel brought out to us was delicious!! The is the best we’ve ever had and both the anchovy & porchetta sandwiches were out of this world. The were also incredible!! The hospitality was so wonderful and before we left we were treated to their Cassatelle Siciliane (a traditional dessert made with ricotta) and of course espresso! Thank you so much, we’ll never forget our little lunch stop at Antica Focacceria 🩷 This place is an absolute GEM!! Family-run and been there for over 20 years. We had an amazing and the BEST arancine with sausage. The owners are so kind and generous and really care about their food and customers. The restaurant was of locals getting takeout. Do not miss out on this place!! The BEST we’ve had so far on many trips to Sicily. We stumbled across Antica Focacceria on a walk back to Sciacca old town.
