We had a great lunch in the bistrot, fantastic wine. A short menu but perfect to choose from : fish of day, meat of day, some classic brasserie and local dishes + homemade charcuterie and fresh desserts. 100% recommend. Lovely local and casual feel. The experience in the restaurant was on par with the Michelin star expectations. Everything from the sophisticated plating and extraudinary food taste to the wide, yet thoughtful selection made for a memorable evening. However, not very cost effective:))) Delicious and affordable lunch in this starred restaurant. The bistrot menu is shorter than the evening one and we have been served quickly. We sat outside under a massive oak tree and this prevented us from feeling too hot. You should book in advanced as tourists buses tend to come here for lunch. Very good food and perfect staff. While enjoying the apéritif in comfy sofas outdoors under the sun, we both chose the 6 courses "Odace" menu as well as the accompaniment. The meal is served indoors in a rather dark room with well spaced out tables but being just by the large window we could still enjoy the sunny day. Used to starred restaurants (*, ** and ***), we were surprised l'O des Vignes was only given a one star rating. In view of the attentive dog friendly service (including the Chef himself!), the presentation and the subtle flavours, l'O des Vignes deserves better. Worth a detour! Tasteful relaxing decor, lovely courtyard for outdoor dining if the weather is right. Food quite simply superb. Excellent list more or less specialising in local produce, which is no loss. Not cheap but bearing in mind the quality and artistry it is fair value.
