Beautiful place, great menu, professional front/back of house, great menu, big portions Back again We tried the Bistro which was and overlooked the golf course. It had a atmosphere and were friendly. They have a set menu for during the week which is excellent value for money. We ordered the starter and main from the set menu. The food was well presented. However, it was too salty and greasy that I was not able to eat the burger. We ordered the dessert from the a la cart menu- sticky toffee pudding, and it was excellent. I would go back just for it. Very club, and very accomodating. Was running a bit late, but they went out their way to slot me in at another time, which I was very grateful for. As for the course, very parkland setup, quite forgiving (which is as I'm a links club member!!) But some very challenging holes. Wish I had more time to stay and enjoy the facilities afterwards, but an airport run was in my plans for the day. Will definitely play again as £35 for a visitor is a fantastic price!! The best restaurant I have ever been to, hands down. Delicious food and fantastic portion sizes. Quick service. Friendly staff. Been here countless times and is my go to!☺️ Booked in for Lunch with my Mum and Dad. Unfortunately my Mum was ill and could not come. I am glad we still went along. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Between the two of us we had 6 Courses and had no fault with any of them. Would recommend " The Crown Harburn ". Definitely coming back. Beautiful food & excellent service, as always. Catering did a great job keeping up with the morning rolls etc. The golf course itself was in fantastic condition so a big well done to the green considering the lack of rain. Will definitely be back next year and would highly recommend playing Harburn if you haven't already. The Crown accommodated our Golden Wedding meal in August at short notice. The meal was beautiful and we all enjoyed the meal, the atmosphere and friendly caring who served us.
