Place doesn't exist anymore. We drove all the way just to walk between somebody houses. Felt like we were trespassing. No signs. Nothing. We had the pleasure of dining at R.O.O.T. in Romania, and what made the experience truly unforgettable was the outdoor seating area with spectacular mountain views. Surrounded by nature, we sat on the terrace where the air was fresh and the scenery felt straight out of a postcard. From our table, we had a clear of the majestic Carpathian Mountains, rolling hills, and endless greenery. It was peaceful, quiet, and incredibly relaxing—the perfect spot for a slow, scenic meal. The outdoor setup is well-designed, with comfortable seating, rustic touches, and enough space between tables to enjoy privacy. As the sun began to set, the only got better—warm light casting golden hues on the peaks and trees, making the whole place glow. The food was equally impressive. Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. You can tell they use local, seasonal ingredients. The was attentive and kind without being intrusive. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to sit outside at R.O.O.T. Whether you’re stopping by for a coffee or a full meal, the combination of excellent food and panoramic views makes it one of the most memorable dining spots we’ve visited in Romania. The reason we landed here was that this has more vegetarian options than the usual Pizza Vegetable. We were blown away from the food and the views. Yes, you have to drive 6km from Bran but it is worth every meter. Thank you for a wonderful evening at your terrace ;--) Great to Piatra Craiului mountains, from the terrace and from the rooms. Nimic de reprosat Today my family and I went to this place and it was absolutely amazing. Our server Mariana was FANTASTIC. We came for lunch and it was so good that we decided to come back for dinner. The Chef is a genius. She knows exactly how to cook with love. You can taste it. I HIGHLY recommend this place. We just left from dinner and I had to do this because they deserve the recognition. Best food in Romania, hands down. We’ve been driving all over this country for a week. We stopped on the way to Moieciu and tried it because we got intrigued: away from the main road but not far at all, amazing reviews, fine dining.. on my birthday was worth a try! We were impressed with the food! Made with passion, lots of flavours, local mainly but at international cuisine level, I would say. The owners and their are also very nice and welcoming. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The menu offered fantastic dishes, and every item we ordered was cooked to perfection. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the presentation was beautiful. I can’t wait to return! The was good, a very nice lady served us, and the food was excellent! We hadden tenderloin tips as starter and duck as main dish! Am avut parte de o experiență extraordinară la ROOT. Atmosfera deosebit de elegantă, cu un design interior care îmbină elementele moderne cu accente rustice. Meniul atent gândit exprimă o adevărată poveste. Fiecare preparat gustat de mine ,cel puțin, a o delicatesă culinară în care se vede munca depusă. Recomand steak-ul de vită din toată inima, pot zice concret ca cel mai bun steak pe care l-am mâncat sau cel puțin în top 3. Nu pot uita de supă cremă de ciuperci, care a o adevărată capodopera culinară. Serviciul a impecabil, cu personal bine instruit, mereu atent, dar discret. locul ideal pentru o escapadă culinară rafinată, perfectă după o zi petrecută în natură. Recomand cu căldură!
