Want to thank Mathis, our guide. He was very professional, and fun. We had a 8 hour and we loved the “game” on our way back to the city center. The Chateaux were incredible. We had plenty of tastings that included mostly reds, which is traditional for Bordeaux. Would highly this and if you get Mathis, then it’s icing on the cake!! Jerome was the perfect host for our tour. He provided a lot of information through our day together, encouraged questions, and spent diving into things of interest. It was our first (or food) tour, since we tend to go on our own, but we’re now excited for future tours! I loved our day today! Hugo was a fantastic guide- Very approachable and knowledgeable, and his English was excellent. I loved the three different chateaus we visited and the was fantastic. I do wish that a few more tastings were available, as we only got two very small pours at the first two, and three very small pours at the third one. The transportation was very comfortable, and we had for a leisurely lunch without being rushed. This was one our favorite tours ever! Our guide, Rodolphe, was not only charming and funny but also extremely regarding and the Bordeaux region. We loved that the was a small group of only 7 guests, including my wife and I, and that the 3 wineries we visited were smaller and family run. We not only enjoyed the we sampled, but also the information we learned about the region and making process. We have been on tours in other countries (as well as Napa Valley , CA back home in the U.S.) and still learned a lot from Rodolphe. He knew so much he could literally own and operate his own winery! We also had a couple of hours to enjoy the town of St. Emillion for lunch and wandering. Rodolphe was also nice enough to give us a dinner recommendation in Bordeaux after the was over that turned out to be fabulous (not surprised). Thanks again Rodolphe for a wonderful day and experience! Charline took us on an amazing of both Château de Chenonceau and Château Chambord with a stop in Amboise for lunch. Her knowledge of history of these sites and the area around the Loire Valley made for an exciting day. I would highly this for anyone visiting the area, and if you have Charline as your for the day, you will be doubly blessed. We loved our and all the vineyards we went to. Rudolphe also made it very light and funny. We enjoyed our day with him. 😊 We visited St Emilion with Luigi and enjoyed a of the village and tasting at Chateau Bellevue. Luigi was warm and welcoming and you’re very about the region and about the wine. We had a wonderful morning. Had a brilliant on the half day to Saint Emilion. Maud is an excellent guide, so about and the Bordeaux region. She shared so much interesting information, was very easy to understand and very friendly throughout. The half day is from 9am - 1pm, taking us by minivan to a fabulous Chateaux vineyard about 45 mins drive outside of Bordeaux, then onwards to Saint Emilion village. The tasting was excellent, tasting 4 different wines. We only had about 35 minutes to explore the village so if you wanted more then maybe consider a longer tour. But over all it was a experience and I would it. I highly this of Albi, Cordes and Winery. Our driver/guide Amelie is a local and she is very about history, art and culture of the area. She gave us lots of information, made it fun and kept our attention. Albi is a beautiful town with the tallest brick cathedral in the world and special architecture. Cordes is a well preserved medieval city with many artisan shops. ended with a taste of small production delicious at Chateau de Mayragues. Today we did a half day with Laetitia to Medoc. She was extremely about wine, Bordeaux history and more. She had a personality and made our with her extra enjoyable. This was our second with this company. What a day trip from Bordeaux. This was a fantastic all day to Saint Emilion! Our Mathis was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, informative, funny and an all round young man. We went to 3 different wineries, tasted 10 different and had an impressive 2 hour stay & wonder around Saint Emilion Town with plenty of for a lunch. We must thank Mathis again for today as we felt very lucky to have had him for our tour. Our best & favourite one so far in France! Well worth it! Their knowledge and acumen of the in the regions were unparalleled which really enriched the trip. However more than that, it was their charisma, communication, and dedication to making sure the group had the best experience possible that really set this above and beyond expectation. They made sure everyone laughed and had a time, they offered to take photos, and make sure everyone in the group felt included. They also had noticeably excellent connections with each of the vineyards we visited, which really enhanced the experience as you felt like you were part of a tight group of people in the region. They also helped answer questions both in the van and at the vineyards and helped with translation. We will never forget all we learned, the laughter we had, and the we enjoyed in St. Emilion and Medoc and it was all thanks to the Orpheus team Rodolphe and Maud for making it so.
