Despite my fear of heights I always enjoy crossing it. Nice view upstream towards the Cathedral m Built in 1897 to mark Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, it crosses the river Wye linking Castle Green with Bishops Meadow. This was the result of the continuous waves of rain over Christmas and New Year, which peaked just as everyone returned to work......marvellous. The flood waters are a sight, but the mess and mayhem they cause negate and pluses they bring. Victoria over River Wye is a very picturesque gives an incredible view of Hereford Cathedral on it’s East bank. There are two nice parks on either side of the river.
