Had picnic on Saturday night Mother’s Day weekend. 2 hour slot and preordered worked well. Great service although the pub was really busy. Delicious food, cakes and cocktails. Will definitely come back again. Absolutely loved the autumnal afternoon tea.!! We drove 2hrs for this & it did not disappoint. The tea itself was brilliantly executed & the decor fabulous.! Friendly & welcoming staff, we look forward to trying the other themed teas one day. First time experience and the sharing board was fantastic! Great value for money, very filling and delicious food and drinks. Beautiful decor inside & outside 😍 Had a feeling it was going to be one of those experiences that looks better online than in real life, but was genuinely surprised. Felt it was relatively good value for money and we took quite a bit away with us to enjoy once home. I feel the kids could have been a little better and we were given no 'reindeer poop' as quoted on the and no explanation until I asked the waitress and was told they had run out. Could have been a better atmosphere with more music. Staff not particularly cheerful considering it was quite expensive and we were visiting for new years eve. Decorations were amazing. Hot chocolate to die for. 4 out of 5 starts. Would visit again. We had the Galentines Picnic Lunch at The Bush Inn Hereford, and it was absolutely fantastic! The presentation was beautiful, with a selection of treats, both sweet and savory. Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. It was the perfect way to celebrate with friends, and we’ll definitely be back again soon. Highly recommend! I visited the Bush Inn for the 1st time with a group of 10 for my birthday. I had booked and provided a pre- order of our choices all very easy within a few days. The provides two different options either the current themed picnic or a ' main' menu. Also providing a children's menu, vegetarian and gluten free option. Our group had a mix of picnic , main menu, kids and included two vegetarians. On arrival the building looked with a beautiful flower arch around the front door. Inside was a typical old fashioned building with a few different rooms I noticed the fireplace place first and the floral decoration makes this place unique. There was another wood burner style fire burning in the back room looking out to the terrace and 'igloo' style domes. The walls are literally made of large flowers in this room which brings a different look. On arrival they double checked the pre- order, in this case they got it wrong and thought there was a gluten free order, when it was just vegetarian. I also requested a high chair but it was not provided (not questioned as chair is ok just low position ). Picnic benches arrived in a timely manner and looked stunning , ours were winter benches and had a little savoury in our groups case a mini cottage pie / halloumi burger and potato skin and chips with a variety of sweet options such as a fairy cake, brownie, cake pop and blondie and mini cheesecake as well as two mini drinks option ours were a white hot (luke warm) chocolate and a blue drink which I believe was bubblegum ( not a fan but looked good). I really enjoyed my halloumi burger and the others said the cottage pie was good and we all wished they were a little bigger and less chips. We could not eat all the sweet treats as they were exceptionally sweet my favourite was the mini cheesecake and brownie cake pop. We were able to get boxes to take leftovers home though so didn't feel too bad leaving so much. Service after being served the picnic benches and main meal option was slow. Despite a dessert being pre-ordered , they had to wait a long time after finishing their main to be offered something else. However they were busy and there were no empty tables. Overall a afternoon in a unique setting. Food was beautifully presented however for me was far too sickly sweet. The main meal option I was told was ok if a little bland ( chicken fajitas)and the chicken was very dry. A great concept in a unique setting but did feel pricey at £26 for a meal each. Really wonderful experience going to the Bush Inn. Recommended from a friend about the picnic experience. It really was magical. Having the small portions with so much care put into the food made it a memory everlasting for our group! We will be back! Especially after knowing they do seasonal ones and holidays like Valentines Day and a summer bench! The staff were accommodating and kind. Really helpful we got to swap out our alcoholic drinks to non alcoholic. Thank you for a wonderful time and the decorations everywhere was a touch! We visited yesterday for a galentines bench, wow wow wow! We arrived to find there had been a mix up with tables but was swiftly upgraded to an outside pod! Which was incredible and infact, I’d now go the extra mile to book the pod in future as it was a wonderful experience out there, with a speaker provided for our music, blankets and a heater! Every single food on the was incredible! So much effort and love is put into all the themes and I will certainly be booking their next themed bench! We also traveled an hour and a half to get here and it was well worth the journey! The owners are so and it really is a well loved business and you can tell. So worth the visit. Surprised myself to see negative reviews as the value for money was incredible and it really made a afternoon for me and my friends! We felt extremely looked after and I couldn’t race more about the food! Can’t wait for our next visit! I had my baby shower here at the start of October so we had the autumn benches and it was amazing, they thought of everything down to the mini hot chocolate. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to our group. The place was beautiful and it was very reasonably priced! The waitress went above and beyond to take pictures for our group. The staff even delivered food to my partner outside in his car when he ordered food! One of my guests was gluten free and they had lots to choose from and was catered for perfectly! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!!
