We went for breakfast, not a good morning or a ciao, or a smile. We ordered coffee because breakfast wasn't ready, it was early morning. We said thank you so in any hospitality place, staff "should" say back you are welcome. Even when we paid we said " thank you" nothing back. This is very sad, basic manners guys. How can staff be so rude ? Thank God the bar in the same street have got a good range of choice and a much more polite and friendly staff. Not for tourist! This American has never felt more welcome or more at home than when I am here. The coffee, the sweets, the people are all wonderful. I can hardly wait to return.
