I had the dark beer from the local Brewery round the corner. Very good ( nice change from Jupiter). Just the place to stop for a while on your tour. Nice bar restaurant next to hotel de ville. Nice to see craft beer in a small town. We were so lucky to stumble on this place. Charmingly eclectic interior, impressive range of craft brewed on the premises (I had the Scotch Ale), exquisite lunch menu beautifully prepared by their recently arrived chef. When we complimented them on the food, they fetched the chef who then asked if we minded his asking some questions about exactly what did and didn't work (everything worked, to be honest, though my pulled pork on a thick sweet potato pancake was especially sublime). Cannot recommend this place highly enough (they even taught me the French word for "leprachaun" (farfadet), which, as an Irishman now living in France, will hopefully prove invaluable). Great bar! My friend, and later myself, dared to ask the barman for a drink and information about their menu to which he responded in a bipolar manner, getting angry and rude in a heartbeat.
