Staff young, but very attentive and professional. Lovely meal and fab setting. Thanks to all Went on Monday, celebrating a birthday, and it was very quiet, hence the low score for atmosphere. However the staff were friendly and very helpful. Congratulations to Millie, James and Sophie. The food was excellent, so there are some very good people in the kitchen too. Lovely Sunday lunch! It’s located right next to the canal, which makes it a lovely stop if you happen to be walking there and provides a pretty view while sitting outside. The inside or the pub is also very cosy and welcoming. The food was really good, would definitely recommend trying their Sunday lunch along with the large variety of lovely items on the menu. Skipton was so busy we decided to try find a nice pub to get food and drink on our drive back. We arrived at a silly time to eat and we’d skipped lunch. We were pleasantly surprised when we were advised that they serve food all day. We chose a table with a view of the canal. The service was friendly and efficient. The beef brisket sandwich was absolutely delicious. I thought the lasagne tasted bland but my daughter enjoyed it. The service was excellent! Delicious food, beautifully presented. Really enjoyed my pate followed by sea bass. Opted for the weekend special menu which offered 2 courses for £25. Partner had the camembert fritters and gammon. Both too full for dessert but the selection looked lovely. Friendly staff and pleasant surroundings. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely return. Amazing food 💥💥good staff ok beer garden it's not the best pub ever but I'm still satisfied 😜😜 Very pleasant evening at the Bay Horse while staying in Skipton. Pub has nice layout and decor. Outdoor seating area, plenty of parking spaces. Welcoming and attentive staff, good atmosphere. Good range of menu choices and gluten free options for one of our group. Food was of a good quality and well presented. Reasonably priced. Would recommend. We received a warm welcome by Laura who took us to a table overlooking the canal. The service was great and the delicious food was piping hot. Arleta gave us, and everyone in the restaurant lots of attention making sure everything was to our satisfaction. A young man called James took away our empty plates with a smile on his face. We w8 definitely be going back!!!
