Great place for coffee, breakfast, brunch and cakes! This is a roastery and their is delicious. We also ordered chicken wraps and they were also delicious. The burgers also look great. The place has good street parking outside and is very cozy. There are some good hiking routes nearby. Would definitely come back here and recommend this place. Great spot after a hike! 🌿☕️ Bright and welcoming café with a fun outdoor setup. We had milkshakes, fresh orange juice, and beers — all excellent and super refreshing. They also serve tasty sandwiches, burgers, and a nice variety of homemade cakes, plus even sell local bread. Friendly vibe, full of hikers. Highly recommend! We ate here a couple of times. The house burger is excellent and great value at least than €9. Their sandwiches are superb, I can really recommend the boerwers sausage (a South African influence) which came loaded with sausage, cheese and bbq sauce. After a quick walk up and round the Levada a refreshing milk shake also hit the spot. A few nice outside tables on a quiet street and as well as tables inside. Great friendly staff as well. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was instantly welcoming 🤗 — a cool, trendy spot with a tempting line-up of desserts. Of course, we went for the classic 🥧 pastel de nata, and it didn’t disappoint. The was absolutely ☕🔥 — even for my picky order of a decaf cappuccino with oat milk, everything was spot on in both taste and quality. It was also a treat to take a peek inside the roastery area — always nice to see where the magic happens. A perfect stop for both lovers and sweet tooths alike. We discovered this spot by accident on our way to the lighthouse and couldn’t have been happier. The was one of the best I have had on Madeira. There are various vegan options on the menu (oat milk of course but also a vegan bagel, a vegan bagel burger and two vegan pie options). You can sit outside or inside and enjoy your cup of coffee. The staff was also super friendly and we even bought some beans to take home with us. :) We enjoyed the coffee, food and service at the small roastery/coffee place so much, we came back a second time during our stay, driving a total of 1 1/2 hour for it. There is nice seating in and outside, all personal is very kind and they have great goodies to buy! Mushrooms chicken pie was incredible. Berry cake amazing! wonderful. We went back multiple times on our visit to Madeira. My husband and I came here twice and the second time we drove 45 min out of our way and over an hour home just to have this seriously delicious coffee. We highly recommend the flat white. The staff were all so friendly and spoke excellent English. The lemon meringue pie and the brownie were insanely good!!! Also, the vegan red fruits cake was also super delicious. 10/10 would recommend this place !! We even bought the beans to bring home with us.
