This place is really cozy and has a huge variety of to choose from. I tried some fancy pancakes, but they were a bit too heavy for my taste and not cheap. I also had the pulled chicken, which is supposed to be their speciality, but it wasn't as fresh as I hoped and too sweet for me. On the bright side, the people working there were super nice and happy to chat about the menu in English, which greatly enhanced our dining experience. These Dutch (pannenkoeken) are prepared with fresh prunes from their own orchard, which gives them a nice seasonal touch. There’s the option to go savoury with bacon or sweet with whipped cream. The menu also changes with the seasons, offering a very nice variety throughout the year. Highly recommended spot for a laid back lunch or dinner. Nestled in the orchards there is plenty to discover for the kids, giving the parents the opportunity to enjoy themselves. Our party of seven was well looked after, service by the young waiter and the lady at the bar was very good. The were first class as well. Will be coming back. Very good and varied varities from savoury to sweet; milk shakes and fries were yum- kids had a great time! Coupled with great service. Also the apple and pear trees outside, a walking trail and kids play area adds to its charm! Great Atmosphere, good quality and service on a pretty busy day. Nice variety of several plates with seasonal choices. Took 4 cheeses 🧀 and did not regret, fantastic 🍷 The milkshakes are amazing!! The strawberry milkshake has been a pregnancy craving of mine, so I’m sure I’ll be back many times! The restaurant is cozy, and the staff is very friendly. I’m looking forward to exploring the outdoor space during the summer! The food is always so tasty, the staff are super friendly, and the environment is perfect for kids! It’s always such a fun place to eat and spend time together! Normally we have a good experiences but today not so much. Staff was friendly as always but we had to wait 2,5 hours for all our food to arrive. First they forgot our appetiser and only gave it to us with our main meal even tho we clearly asked for it as an appetiser. That struggle apart we waited for our main meal for 40 minutes after ordering. Waiting 40 minutes would normally be fine if its busy except the problem here is that people who came in later then us had gotten and finished both their appetiser and main meal before we even got one. We didnt have anything on our table but drinks so nothing was suggesting us being busy. WE were with 3 and when they finally did bring our main meal (pancakes) it was only 2, we decided to be patient and wait because as ive said it was busy. The 2 of us finished our cold after waiting for 20 minutes because it started to get cold, after 40 minutes they finally went past our table again and we could tell them that the third person never had gotten the food. As a cherry on top my pancake wasnt fully cooked and had some raw batter on 2/3 of the pancake. I was too scared to say anything by this point bc we had already had to keep asking ab things. Friendly people but the service was horrible this time and the food undercooked and rushed.
