The place is taken out of a legend, or a magical story. There are not enough words to describe the uniqueness of this place. It is much more than a place to eat. You get family service, from the most place I have ever seen. There is no menu to choose food from, you get what the mama cooks for the day you have arrived. I gave the food 4 stars because you must understand before you come (which we didn't understand) that this place serves hardcore Romanian food - which is a lovely bonus from a romantic perspective, but can also be a minus from a culinary perspective. The ingredients are as fresh as they can get, and the soup was simply divine. Important to understand - this place is not for kids, the food is way to complex for them to enjoy. Friendly host, very good food cooked every day. We were eating the meatballs soup the day, “bulz” polenta and cheese and pork stake cooked in a specific way plus the famous “papanași”. Good syrup and cheery brand that was excellent ! This is an amazing place with great friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Portions are really big, you will never go away hungry 😍 All the food was tasty, the soup, meat and beautiful tasty desert, and Polenta was fantastic, I've never eaten better one. Mrs. Anca Vlad is a very friendly , welcoming person, but in my opinion is just too much, because litterly kissing on the check every person. The food was average, serving meatballs supe, only that in my opinion it had Vegeta, and the meat balls either they were frozen, either they had flower added, or pesmet. Bulz, the second serving was average, and the dessert was papanași, which I don't know how it happened, but everyone is making papanași in Romania, which is not a dish. Very crowded place, very noisy. Not be coming again. Absolutely wonderful experience. The woman was so kind and welcoming! She helped our children comfortable and welcome too.
