It's so it's just about okay. There are only 4 electric points so you will need to be independent of mains electricity. It fits a small camper, 2 transits and 5 larger campers or combinations thereof. The spaces have been measured out for small vehicles and so it is deceiving as to how many vans actually fit. Some vehicles look semi permanent. There is a point and waste point but the location is almost an after thought. There is an overspill carpark for campers but it looks like you are only allowed to stay 3 hours? Doubt anyone checks? Somehow the area fails as a camping car parking place. It's not peaceful but it's okay for one night. There is an incessant dog barking outside somewhere with a child shouting gradually fading away thank goodness but there is road noise and shouting nearby. The road noise is pretty constant. This place has been painted in too rich a colour by others. You are surrounded by parked cars and trees. There are mountain bike trails here and a nature park though the path is unkempt. There is a bike wash and along the road a sports stadium. There are steps leading down to the train station at the side of the flyover. Lots of graffiti. I would not return. If you are looking for a spot there is a place south of Nancy at Richardmenil that is better located but equally deficient in only providing a few electric points and insufficient parking. Perhaps for those visiting Luxembourg City it has more benefits than those transiting between the Vosges and Ardennes. OK for a break but was not the safest of places didn't feel comfortable and electric was off won't be calling again Great place to fill up with freshwater and empty your cassette Call ahead to book and don't rely I your space if you don't get there early. Handy for rail and bus connections that are all throughout Luxembourg. Nice Place for Camping, but it’s out of capacity fast since it’s not too big. Make sure to get there by time and not too late! Having a stop-over place here is really great. I don't think there are any services available, but there is plenty of place to park, and it's quite and safe. Couldn't ask for more. Well organised. inclusiv the amenities like electricity and water. There is surrounding noise due to traffic and trains and there are just 4 power outlets, so not enough for 10 motorhomes. on the other side of the road there is s large area where many motorhomes can be parked but without the amenities and the need to reserve. So if it is full you can park there and use the white/gray/black facilities from the prime location the next morning. Great spot to stay and visit Luxembourg by train. However locals appear to stay there over the 2 days as working and living on the site.. This is a fab little spot. 48 hours with electric and waste disposal. Can catch a local train into Luxemberg city. There is a skate and bike park over the road and a downhil mountain bike route closeby. Park and ride into Dudelange next to the site. All in all Im grateful for all the places countries make for campers to stay a night or two, so in that sense it is just that, a places to camp. It looks like it has been/ is currently beeing expanded since these last reviews, so there is now plenty of available places to park. The "original" area where the and power is is full. There is a bus going past right outside so that's a little noisy, but less noisy than parking near the autobahn 🙂 I have three kids with me so the skatepark right next to here is a huge plus! parking overnights, possible to connect electricity, get drinking and empty portable toilets. The train station is a couple of minute walk away where you can go to the town center, or whatever you would like and I think that is as well. All public transport in Luxembourg is free.
