We was camping here and what a nice place are a lot of lakes if you do love very peaceful and it's very clea field, toilets are good by the reception as the showers are clean and very well organized place staff are very kind and helpful, friendly shop are good can find most of everything for the restaurant is good, Downside of this place well is one thing that they can't control but is a be near the motorway so you will get the car noise and the fields toilets as are porta loos and are some people don't bother to keep clean Spacious campsite within the grounds of these lovely lakes. It has it's own cafe/restaurant and equipment shop. Close to the ancient town of Sandwich. Easy access to Canterbury by bus and other coastal towns. Lovely staff and Kevin who manages this site is so very helpful and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back. Appreciate its cold but the easiest lake literally nothing on 2x occassions. Hearing from other visitors that they are hard lakes. I'd like to try summer with my daughters and prey it's better than this otherwise its back to my previous lakes which seem a lot easier. Facilities are good though and is relatively cheap to be fair. Well my son wanted to go night fishing, so here we are. Could not think of a better relaxing place to start his first night fish. Staff go above and beyond to help, direct and advise.
