Stayed here after arriving from France on holiday. We emailed because reception would be closed when we arrived and were able to pitch up and pay in the morning. Site is well looked after. Pitches are mainly grass. Ideal for the Dover ferries and Channel Tunnel Stayed again to travel in the other direction. Great, well kept site. Facilities basic but clean. Would definitely stay again if in the area I've had a quick stop at Little Satmar Campsite just 1 night before crossing the border to France. I wish I had more time to spend there as the location is stunning and the staff is so lovely. It is definitely an amazing place for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature, birds and a lot of green! I was meant to spend over 2 weeks there, but I couldn't as I needed to stay close to a vet to get my bird a certificate to cross the border to EU, such a shame I only spent one day for a quick stop and go, as my bird certificate was only valid 48 hours! Thank you so much also because I had booked and cancelled my first booking, the staff held it for me and once I booked a later date, they simply moved it for me without any lost on my side! Faultless. Such a lovely small quiet site. Very good facilities A short walk up the lane takes you to the Clifftops for spectacular views. Walk left to Dover or right to Folkestone. It's a stunning coastal path in sunshine. Alternatively there are regular buses at end of the lane. Away from the Clifftops you can find plenty of people/life down at Folkestone Harbour Arm area. Lots going on. Music on the Arm each weekend, great food options. It's lively at the weekend. Takes an hour to walk down to from the site. Recommend bus for return leg. Samphire hoe at Dover looks interesting. We ran out of time but will be back. The ideal site in many ways. Peaceful. Well kept. Very Nr Coastal path or 3 miles away plenty going on. Make your choice and enjoy 😊 We have been exploring Kent and surrounding areas in our new campervan this year. Thought we had found our best campsite in Kingsdown, but you exceeded that! Such a lovely, beautifully clean site, wonderful hot water in washing up area and showers and excellent bus routes nearby. So wildlife-friendly!. A very nice welcome, also......Will definitely be back! Hi booked for few days but the way you have your peace, freedom and respect which is vital for me decide for me to stay longer. There was one info which worried me if it comes to safety but it was resolved very quickly. Safe place, clean and tidy with recycling bin etc. Everyone respecting each other and space.You can leave your stuff with open door and they still be there. Drinking water fresh and warm water to have a shower.I have been shown respect and trust, couldn't be more happy. Would love to work here and be proud. Please don't change.
