This is a fantastic holiday park, with short term holiday let's and owners alike. This place is in a beautiful setting on the banks of the river Stour. Great for walking and enjoying nature, or perhaps a boat trip out to Sandwich Bay with "Captain Collin"! There is a playground for the kids, but be aware this is primarily a quieter park, popular with those looking for a peacful break. That said there is often some form of musical entertainment on a Sunday afternoon at the onsite Pub, where you can also enjoy a lovely meal and something to drink, all at very reasonable prices! Really nice country pub, we didn’t stay there just popped in for a beer after a day on the beach, ended up getting some dinner. £13 for a Moretti, Malibu and coke, half pint of coke and a bowl of chips! Will defo be returning. Really nice views, lovely garden, I had a jacket potato with beans, cheese, tuna and prawns and was really nice, my youngest had a burger and didn’t end up finishing it as was decent size for the price. Toilets were clean, staff were welcoming, service was really quick, beautiful location Bice location, good food, good portion sizes, will definitely be a returning customer Went there for Sunday lunch, some things on the menu were not available which was disappointing and although there is a vegetarian option there is nothing on the menu for anyone who is vegan which is a bit poor considering how many people are vegans. This is why I have only given four stars. I think they need to rethink the menu. Otherwise it's very friendly, garden area for summer and parking. Fantastic location, rooms, and service exceeded our expectations. Very clean, large rooms, pub in site is very friendly with lovely staff and great food. Good parking, can thoroughly recommend Weekend break with our dog. The pet friendly caravan was very nice and had modern decoration. Had everything we could need, even dog bowls and dog towels. The site was very well placed with a lovely river walk. Everyone was very friendly. Hope to go back again later this year Did not stay at the caravan leisure park only had lunch at the Dog and Duck pub situated next to the site, which was so nice we visited a 2nd time. Big portions and varied menu. Have recommended to friends that might pass by. The leisure park itself looked to be clean and tidy, viewing it from the car park. I had a wake held here. I ordered the Silver buffet. There was plenty of food which was really good, it was displayed nicely, and everything tasyed excellent. We asked for background music which they gave us. All in all it could not have gone better. I would definitely use this pub for family gatherings anytime. I have previously been here for meals which were very good too. Highly recommended!
