Went here for a karate event and the hall was perfect. I had a good cup of coffee from the cafe. The staff were helpful and cheery. The facilities seem to be wide ranging and in fairly good order. I don’t do much exercising myself but attended a blood.co.uk event. Well organised and good use of the venue considering lockdown restrictions Really good had a great day, done tobogganing with the boy but you must book ahead then went on to swimming and that was great and cheap unlike other pools.. Absolutely amazing sky walk experience for a long range age group today...they loved it...and can't recommend the man in charge enough...there with them the whole way through at wobbly times...and rapport at different age groups was fab xx ....thankyou Update your Google business page to CLOSED - we drove over especially to take a 3 year old swimming. Tears were shed when we saw you were closed. Staff are very nice, but the organisation of the place is a bit of a mess. Very often short staffed, closed earlier at least once a month, impossible to get through on the phone, main swimming pool is very often closed without notice, overall a big gamble. I have had my swimming plans ruined by this facility quite a lot and joined the gym for the certainty of swimming. The older reception staff here are very rude. I asked for directions and the woman turned her back and called me rude under her breath/to her colleague. I came back to ask for an apology and I tried to explain I had autism / that I didn't mean to come across like that, but I wished she wasn't rude out loud. All of the reception staff at reception ganged up on me and were not actively listening to what I was saying. They were very nasty old white woman and it made me feel uncomfortable. I can't come to these facilities again nor will my friends be. I am much younger than they are and found it very child-like behaviour. I hope that the management staff consider more who they are hiring as it feels very relaxed here. I would rather pay money to a gym that is a bit more professional and possibly has a better understanding of mental health and customer service. I read a few reviews and can see now these facilities have a reputation for rudeness in Folkestone. After visiting with my daughter for Fun Tots, we went and ate in the cafe afterwards.. The highchairs were absolutely filthy, I was genuinely shocked.. We also had to stand and wait to be served for a good five or ten minutes! (Which is, difficult enough with a 17 month old!) Unfortunately I don't think we'll be attending anytime soon.
