A beautiful country pub that has both indoor and outdoor seating, with shaded areas. Dogs welcome. Parking isn't directly behind, it's the car park in the next road along parallel to the pub. There is a sign post though, and it's free. You can enter via the main door or straight through to the back garden. Pay at the bar when you order if you're eating outside.. Service was fast and the food was nice.. The toilets were clean and the seats were comfortable. It's quite picturesque and you can go for a walk by the river afterwards.. We didn't book and still got a table in the easily ( during the day ). Relaxing lounge music was playing in the too, with a dedicated smoking area.. I cannot fault this pub and I would say it definitely has atmosphere and is worth a visit. Honestly a little disappointing. I booked for my mum’s birthday for tea (we were 4 people). When we arrived, the guy at the bar was a bit short with us, though the rest of the were nice. As for the food, the portions were quite small and definitely leaned much more towards sweet than savoury—some crisps or something similar would’ve balanced it out nicely. Not sure if I’d go back. Best things you can ask for in a pub: - food (the fish and chips actually came with two pieces of fish! Hence why a bit of it is on the roast) - service, lots of who are very polite, kind and attentive - superb location with free car park - dining areas and a beautiful summer garden Definitely book as they get a bit busy. 10/10 Rather an unexpected but pleasant find. Courteous and efficient in pleasant surroundings more expected of the West End in London than XScape in Central Milton Keynes. Beautifully presented dishes, well cooked and as requested. Wait polite, well presented and aware but not overbearing too. Thoroughly pleasant experience that will likely be repeated. Nice pub, service We’ve been here for lunch a couple of times now and is now one of our favourites. The choice at lunch time of sandwiches and main meals is and one of the best in the area in terms of options. Good tasted and portions are generous too. are always so welcoming and lovely. Looking forward to coming back and hopefully for dinner soon too! We stopped by The Three Fyshes after completing the Turvey Circular Walk, and although we only had a bowl of chips and a lime soda, it was exactly what we needed! We were made to feel very welcome, and the pub had a lovely, warm atmosphere. It’s a charming spot, and I can only imagine how wonderful it must be to sit out in the pub during the warmer months. I had been meaning to visit this place for a while after hearing positive things from friends. Safe to say I was not disappointed! The quality of the food was excellent with a variety of options available for various dietary requirements and the prices are very reasonable. On a sunny afternoon/evening by the river its one of the must-go pubs in the region this spring/summer. Many thanks Three Fyshes team! I'll be back again soon! tea Gorgeous food. are fantastic. On the river and in a gorgeous village. Will be returning for anniversary in a month! Had teas here today. The two young lads working were extremely courteous. The pub had a feel and the food was with a selection. 5 stars from me Sunday lunch. I love their sea bass on Singapore noodles. Started with garlic mushrooms on toast, probably the best I have ever had Had a Stunning Tea treat here, Plenty to eat & drink with unlimited tea & Coffee, brilliant Service in a unrushed setting, Perfect 👍 Will recommend to everyone! Come in for a beer on my fathers birthday, I was not aware that I needed to enter my registration plate from parking in carpark. members didn't mention it either. Weeks later got a fine through. Went in and spoke with staff, they said they would get in contact with parking company and reduce the fine to £20, but that's the best they could do. Waited a few more weeks for something - nothing. Low and behold they did not speak to the parking company and I have ended up with £170 fine. Thanks guys, wont be returning. First time visit to the Three Fishes. My partner and I forgot to get something out of the freezer for dinner so we got on our motorcycles and went for a ride. We ordered our food at the bar and got a drink at the same time, went out into the area (very nicely laid out with plenty of space). It seemed only minutes and we were being served our food. My partner had a full rack of ribs that come with chips, coleslaw, and a side salad. This was very tasty the meat literally fell off the bones, chips were fat but crunch on the outside and soft on the inside the salad wasn’t just a garnish it was put together with some care and had a bit of most salads in there. I had a ribeye steak with chips, mushroom, onion rings few grilled tomatoes and a bit of rocket. This was also very well nice and well presented Staff were very friendly and welcoming and prices were appealing too. Well done three fishes you have just earned a few new customers. My cousin and I have been for tea here twice now and will definitely go again. The homemade cakes and sandwiches were delicious. The restaurant and location is but the really set it apart as nothing is too much trouble and they were all and very welcoming. We had a wonderful Tea at the Three Fishes. Even before we visited, Scott was so helpful with the menu and accommodating dietary requirements. Nothing was a problem. We were welcomed with a warm greeting when we arrived and shown straight to our table. The tea was amazing. The homemade sausage rolls, scones and strawberry tarts were our favourites. Thank you to Scott and your team for looking after us and the excellent baking. Wow we have just had the best Sunday roast ever the food and service was sublime if you haven't tried it definitely do i recommend it highly 12 of us visited the Pub this Sunday & its got to be the best home cooked sunday roast in the area! Absolutely delicious & plentiful. The ones that didn't have a roast loved the steak, the ribs & vegie option. Everyone rated their meals highly. Service from the also fantastic.
