They treat the animals well and with respect and avoid cages in favour of open areas with natural barriers. Amazing zoo in 'Wingst'. Many animals and, unlike many other places, you get a good view of the animals and are almost within touching distance. Petting zoo is great with goats and lamas, however people with small children beware that the goats may seem overly enthusiastic and can knock them over. Nice and clean zoo to visit, the wolves are great to watch in their larger enclosures. Unfortunately the brown bears were in another area, which limited the view. All in all, absolutely worth the money. Small zoo but with almost every animal there is. We saw them feed the bears and the wolfs.. that was awesome! Not a big zoo. But ideal for a couple of hours especially if you have small children. Not expensive this was a beautiful zoo where everything was close together. recommended.
