Museu de Tortosa

Tortosa, Spain History museum

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Tiny museum, literally just one room with little to see, even less English and even Spanish explanations. Definitely too expensive with 3 E. Perhaps better when there are any temporary exhibitions. It seems sufficient to watch the nice building from the outside. Eye opening history from this city that we were not aware of before coming to this museum. Very interesting. Free audio on phone via QR code. Well laid out. Very nice detailing the history of Tortosa. It was really nice to learn more about this wonderful visit. Worth a visit for sure We visited the permanent section. Awesome insight on the history of the city and the region. The guy at the reception was very friendly and helpful Tortosa is a renaissance city with its old buildings and a Cathedral also recently discovered Roman ruins. This city stands on a river overlooked by the mountains. There is a charming that was once a slaughter house . It is charming steeped in history and worth visiting. Xavi is great. He speaks no English (yet) but still went to great lengths to help us out. He is very passionate about the museum. The itself is very interesting, especially with the audio guide. Well-organised museum, helpful staff and an interesting audio guide that builds a broad historical overview using a simple narrative without overwhelming the listener with too much information. I always use this in Hoi IV to break through during the spanish civil war so I can divide the enemys front line. Works always perfectly. Big recommendation.
