We found this place in the winter after reading reviews but we were disappointed to find it closed. We vowed to find time in the summer to try it. We weren't disappointed. Don't expect posh restaurant or a fancy menu. This is a place were you go for the the food and the view ...in that order. The menu was starter heavy so we decided to order 7 to really experience the food. The stuffed peppers with tuna were a delicate starter then we had a wonderful beef tartare, two octopus dishes and finally chicken liver and bacon skewers. Everything was wonderfully seasoned with well balanced sweet and sour flavours. The owner is obviously passionate and proud of his creations as he should be. The is kind and unpretentious. We will be back before the end of September to try the main courses. Great food in a boat that is now moored and been converted into a restaurant. An exciting fusion of flavours, we had octupus spanish/German style and several other tapas, all delicious. Great wine too. Dogs allowed! Great terrace upstairs overlooking lake. 5 star food in Masuria It was a pleasant experience for us to be served high quality food on a pontoon barge! An experience for sure, the location and interior is unique. Some of the food was very good but I think some was slightly muddled in terms of flavours. The owner does provide a lot of conversation, don't go for quiet service. The best restaurant in Mazury area !
