A lot had changed over the 40 odd years but the beauty of this had not. The itself was clean and very well maintained, so kudos to all those involved. Locals don't know how blessed they are to have this gem on their doorstep. It's a park, well maintained, not huge but big enough for a few laps with the dog, there are some picnic tables, plenty of waste bins, a kids area, a small football pitch on grass although in wet weather it looks grim. I think there are toilets on the far end. Never used them though. Also Coffee shop close by to grab a coffee at Funky Monkey Very colorful park. Everywhere you can see PINKKKK (at this time of the year). Good place to be relaxed. Calm and quit... This is one of my daughter's favorite places. She found some great friends there. Kids can ride on the curved road. We are very lucky that the Victorians weren’t as greedy as rich people are now or this amazing green space would be flats! I come here with my boys from Sale as it has so much to offer. My eldest first rode his bike without stabilisers here. Stockport council do any amazing job of looking after the facilities. Wonderful community park, i visit regularly for exercise. Very well maintained and seems to see lots of use in the weather. Great for families with facilities and sports courts. little park. Very clean and has a children's area. Beautiful park.
