Nice Park to walk round only thing letting ot down was the amount of beer bottles left around Park was clean and seemed well maintained. It is completely contained with different areas for different age groups and fairly well laid out. There were some swings for disabled children and wide walkways around the edges but not leading from area to area. The rest of memorial park has very well maintained, wide walkways, lots of shrubs and nature areas, large playing field and courts. Plenty for a family to do. (Also for geeks like me, plenty of Pokestops!🤣) A very pleasant place to visit, very well kept flower beds and grassed areas. Take the kids to feed the ducks as they swim around the pond, so much fun to be had. Always a good place to be, take the dog for a walk or go to the picnic area, enjoy the time there, relax and enjoy your day. I love our local park, it has been a blessing during lock down. A lovely duck pond, great planting, a tennis court and all weather pitch. Plenty of toddlers and children's apparatus to play on, a massive sports field, small woods, 3 bowling greens and dedicated to all our local war heroes with a cenotaph and heritage walk. Well done wyre/Fleetwood council and all the staff on maintaining and continuing to improve Memorial Park. Great park and well maintained.
