Owners are very welcoming and accommodating. Rooms are 2,3 or 4 occupancy. 2nd floor guest rooms are provided with a common sitting room (tv and fireplace) and kitchenette ( fridge and microwave, dishes and sink, electric tea kettle). Delicious food, homemade with most of the meat and produce from the owners farm. Beds are very comfortable ( great mattress). Each room has its own modern bathroom. Towels are provided. Even in the winter a wonderful stay. We went there in need of relax and rest for a couple of nights. BIG MISTAKE. When we arrived, the owner was babysitting in the place and there was kids and their noise until 9pm. The following day we hoped we would finally have our relaxing time, but to our surprise by midday people starting arriving- with kids- to what we thought it was lunch. But nope, they were celebrating something and the party took the whole day. Imagine being in a children's birthday party (shouting, running noisily, crying, fighting on sounding toys etc) during 8 HOURS NON STOP! After bearing this for over 3 hours we went for a walk in the ICY WINDY countryside. That 1 hour we spend outside in the cold was the only silent time we had. We came back to the house, hoping the chaos ended, but nope, noisy chaos continued the same. We tried to watch a movie and set the computer's volume to the maximum, but still their noises, shouting and chaos was louder and we could not hear the movie. Torture went on until I could not handle it anymore and I went to the owners asking PLEASE to let us rest a bit (since we needed to get up early and my head was about to explote. The owner said "ok". Nothing about apologies or nothing. The owners did not care AT ALL that we were there, neither the son, nor the rest of the people participating of this party right in the door of our room. We booked the room one month beforehand so they knew we were going to be there. They could have organized their birthday party aother weekend, or in another place, or cancelling our booking, or minimum at least being polite and telling us they were going to keep noise all weekend long...so we could have cancelled. But nope, they did not care. And not even apologies. It was a pity we paid the 2 nights beforehand, otherwise OF COURSE we would have vanished from that hell asap. It was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, and I really would like my time, my patience and my money back. NEVER EVER AGAIN I highly recommend this cute place. Breakfast was deliciously polish.
