Well run fishery with a few lakes Recently returned to fishing. Although I’ve lived in the area over 40 years, have only just discovered the Stanwick lake fisheries. It’s a well stocked set of lakes with a good variety of fish. It has a little shop where you can buy tackle and some baits (not live baits). Day tickets are also a reasonable price. Met up with family here. Found it by chance when looking at something else and was delighted as it was so good for our families. Two children 18 months and 5 years were kept highly entertained in the adventure park and on the adventure trail. Only small quibble, the cafe was rather pricey so would bring picnic next time as there's plenty of places to sit and eat a picnic. A superb Fishery owned by a true gent who's extremely helpful. First time on and loved the peacefulness and nature. Unfortunately lost my only at about 6am but I've definitely got unfinished business so I'll be back! So I’ve been here 5 times so far and fished Swan. I unfortunately am yet to catch anything but this is probably more down to my ability than the Fisheries. 🤦‍♂️ It is a nice venue so I’ll be back to try again. Nice area, fishing was hard, but carp are stunning. Great fisheries having had the membership for a year I can say I've had many a good night on the bank it does get muddy in the wet months and can't say enough about the team there always friendly and have plenty of knowledge of the lakes definitely renewing the membership again this year Visited the lakes to a couple of times with a friend, Fantastic experience, Bailiffs are really friendly, and the price isn't bad. Haven't caught anything yet but with this on my local doorstep, It's a great place to fish. Highly Reccomend. Just got back into fishing after a couple of decades out. Gave Swanlake a go for a day. Good price ticket and very pleasant cheerful staff, managed to land 3 nice fish, so went home very pleases. Will be going back again soon. Brilliant fishery, great bailiffs, and beautiful aquatic inhabitants. 10/10 Nice Used to be a lovely place but now the owner allow ppl on site that threat to smash ppl kits up when proff given ie live stream footage and messages from said person on site he dose nothing either tho saying the guy has be mentioned b4 with his anttics my advise don't it the person in pic you want to avoid on that fishery if you did go.
