Lovely farm! Lots of wonderful playground and lovely gardens! Wonderful for children! The caffe could have more food available! Completed a Dad & Lad experience today. The first half was in the forge with David the Blacksmith at Fire Monkey Forge. We made a throwing spike each. David is an excellent teacher and the end result speaks for itself. We then stopped for lunch in the cafe, we had a lovely freshly made pizza each and a latte. After lunch we moved to the area behind the mill with 1642 Field Sports. We got to use the throwing spikes along with axes, knives and the like. fun! We then had a crack at archery which got comparative. I highly recommend booking a course and I will be back in the future. Thank you. One of the best farm and activity centre by far. big playground for kids, eating and camping. Well done for all of it. Will definitely come back again and send some friends your way 👌👏👍 Came for the Halloween event. Lots of fun things to do. Trick or treat workshop, pumpkin patch and carving and the haunted house. Play barn included included in the tickets. Good parking and facilities. A lovely family day out for all ages. I took my niece on a day out and there was loads to do from looking/stoking the animals, play areas, decorating chocolate, tractor rides 🚜 and loads more! The staff were friendly and very helpful too! Nice farm with lots of animals, but lots of walking. The farm complex is huge, so be prepared to walk a lot and whilst there are signs, we had to look for many barns and animals. The lady at the reception told us to go to the shops first. Not sure if this is suitable for very young kids. Our daughter 16 months was bored at times as there was a lot of nature and barnes in distance. We booked 1pm slot which meant after we finished at around 4pm, the hot kitchen was already closed (only operates from 12pm-1pm) and there was not much food to choose from. We missed more interaction with animals, pet them, feed them, but maybe we expected too much. Probably the best was outdoor play area, our daughter really enjoyed it. Absolutely wonderful day with grandson who thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of to see and activities for him to take part in. The cafe served lunches. Good amount of booking time to get around everywhere. The one way system was easy to follow. Lots of hand washing stations. It was to see some small businesses using the paddock area and to see the blacksmith and wood carving being done. A small variety of to see and experience. The mill is always to see every time I've visited and such a learning experience for younger ones. The new play park is a huge hit with our little one and the amount of variety of kit for a wide range of ages is just fantastic. It really has made a huge difference. The ice creams were reasonably priced and the small gift shop area had an array of books and toys. The staff were polite and friendly. Lots of parking space and sized spaces too. Definitely recommend coming here for all ages. Lots of peacocks about. Beautiful but beware the odd one is brave enough to try and get very close to you for your food! Lovely stargazing party , enjoyed every moment. Also halloween week, had so much fun. The best playground ever.Would definitely recommend to visit with all family.
