As someone experiencing this for the first time, I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. My instructor, Mr. Andrew, played a key role in making the day so memorable. His expertise, calm guidance, and clear explanations helped me fully understand and explore the Defender’s capabilities. From advanced features to off-road handling, he walked me through every detail with patience and professionalism. What made the even more special was how smooth and enjoyable the drive was—it completely changed my perception of the Defender and made Land Rover one of my favorite brands. Mr. Andrew also took the to capture some fantastic photos, making sure I had lasting memories of the day. It was fantastic for all 3 of us, fun, the courses are excellent and so varied truly showing the Discovery's amazing ability in all sorts of situations. Our Instructer was Charlotte who was superb throughout in every way. We each had nearly an hours driving ....and teas/coffees [with mince pies!] before and after. An absolutely fun afternoon for as us all and experience. Bravo! I recently took part in a Land Rover Defender and had an incredible time. My instructor, Rob, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and made the whole session both enjoyable and informative. Having owned my Defender for only a few months, I was keen to understand more about its capabilities. Rob took to sit with me in my own Defender to go through a few controls I wasn’t completely sure about, which was a personal touch. Overall, it was a fantastic and given me whole new appreciation of the Defender and how capable it really is. Highly recommended! Short enough not to get bored, long enough to cover all the basics. We drove 3 New Defenders and 1 ‘real’ or ‘old’ or ‘classic’ Defender. This discussion went on during the day. My sons drove the New Defenders. Amazing machines that make offroading effortless and easy. Automatic, Air suspension and auto locking diffs plus terrain sensing create a playstation like driving adventure. Comfy and fast on the road, unstoppable in terrain. The ‘’classic’ was a manual with only a central diff-lock was quite a lot of work to drive and all those electronics were replaced by one human. I learned a lot from my (Graham) who did not fall over this time. 😂 Our lunch at the White Horse Inn was delicious. We ate there again for dinner (also great). We will be coming back for the sand pit somewhere next year. I had an amazing on the Land Rover Day Experience. We drove a Range Rover, and it was incredible from start to finish. Our instructor, Mitch, was brilliant — friendly, lively and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable throughout the whole day. He really added to the experience. The technology inside was on another level — I’ve never seen anything like it. From the driving assists to the off-road features, everything felt smooth, powerful and incredibly advanced. It really showed what the vehicle is capable of. The location was stunning, with beautiful scenery and plenty of wildlife. We saw deer, birds and lots of other animals while driving through the wilderness, which made the day feel even more special. The food provided was also excellent and a bonus to an already fantastic experience. Overall, it was a day out and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it. We had an amazing day in the Defender. My face was aching from smiling the entire time. Our was amazing and so calm. I learnt so much about my driving style. Can’t recommend highly enough. I took my two boys and they loved it too. Will definitely book again.
