Big and ideal to host big events. Lately visited for the Frozen on ice show PAOK Sports Arena is located at the area of Pylaia in Thessaloniki city. It is the home ground of PAOK THESSALONIKI Basketball Club but here volleyball and handball matches of PAOK take place. The crowd attention is 8.000. Went to Greece vs Montenegro game. The arena is on the outskirts of the Thessaloniki and after a concert quite a bit of time is required to catch a taxi. The facilities are fine but Enrique Iglesias was a bit flat, despite all the great songs, starting 90 minutes late and finalising in 90 minutes is just not right way to present yourself first time in one city, doesn't matter how great artist you are. The special effects especially with the fire were great, the Spanish songs much better than English ones, all in all, good but not good enough Originally we just wanted to browse around in the souvenir shop, but we were given a spontaneous tour of the hall and were able to admire many of the rooms. Including the trophy room and the fitness area. In Berlin you would have been allowed to pay money for it, here it was free.
