It is at the end of a 1 hour hiking trail along Susara river. The Susara Gorges are beautiful and the waterfall is the iceing on the cake. Very easy hike, except for the last few meters where we found a short area to be passed with the help of chains hanging from the mountain walls. The kids absolutely loved this part. Nice waterfall ! After a 40 min walk through a forest road at the and you have to cross a line by holding a cable not to fall into water. Spectacular waterfall, easy 1h path from Sasca Montana. Not to miss if you visit Cheile Nerei. Easy access and trail, excellent for families. Tound trip about 1:30 h at a nice pace! Traseul lejer, frumoasa. Din păcate toate drumurile din zonă sunt praf și pulbere. Dar zona fermecătoare. De la parcare până la cascadă natura îți umple sufletul și plămânii cu viață. Traseul marcat cu cruce albastră foarte accesibil. Chiar înainte de cascadă o porțiune de vreo 50 de metri cu lanțuri care nu dificilă. Vara se poate și prin apă dar trebuie avut grijăla vipere. Timpul de parcurgere a traseului de aproximativ 2 ore. Stunning! The walk is one hour long, through a breathtaking trail. Some points are a bit difficult, but there is a metal rope to help. Definitely worth going to see!! The mountains in Romania are extraordanary. And this is a "pearl" of this area. If you like vacation in the mountains in summer this is a place you should visit. Susara fall is great don t get me wrong but the trip to reach it was amazing, we found salamanders on the way and so many nuances of green from leaves to musk to the ivy wow! Susara plasata in padure.Drumul incepe din Sasca Montana,pe sosea pana la indicatorul care arata drumul la spre stanga.In zilele de vara are debitul redus.Nu deloc aglomerat,cararea accidentata pe alocuri,cu copaci cazuti in cale ,ceva lanturi in zone mai greu de trecut.Nu era nimeni acolo,doar la intoarcere am vazut un grup ca mergea spre cascada.
