We were sadly disappointed with our meal. The salad did not have lettuce and the pizza had no tomato sauce…service was friendly though. Very home-made traditional romanian food. It was a stop we made after we took the ride with the historical train from Oravita to Anina People change sometime This place is considered the best in Oravita but it's not if you're not Romanian. The restaurant is not welcoming at all, the waiter (or at least the one I had) was rude and unpolite, annoied by the presence of tourists. He didn't speak a word of English (and it's not a big deal if you're polite and welcoming in your own language) and didn't even try to make himself understandable so instead of trying he started to speak Rumenian and laughing at us. He refused to write down what we wanted for dinner so he failed with the order and when we order a new dish he said it was too complicated. I ended up eating fries and a salad with him snorting at every request. The hotel is in a convenient location but if you can avoid the restaurant if you're not a romanian speaker and if you don't tolerate unpolite people. This place looks nice but they are some small issues with the service standards. Overall nice place. Delicious coffee and sweets, serving. I highly recommend! Fast, corect price, food, nice personel. The waiter were very friendly We waited 35 minutes for the food. The lemonaide had a lot of fresh lemon slice. I’ll let the pictures talk more! We tried to have our 10th anniversary from graduating highschool at this location. All night we had only 2 waiters which more often than not have missinterpreted our orders (long coffee instead of an espresso). Ultimately, at 2am the party has been crushed due to police coming in saying the music was too loung (even if the restaurant host more soundy events: weddings, music nights etc). The local management has closed all our music and sent us home packing, even if we have rented the local for the entire night. Overall we have been very dissapointed with the management. restaurant with and fast serving. The coffee is very nice,but the pizza was not as in other places,yet still enjoyable.
