This place is magical, a natural wonder. There is a 90 minutes walking distance through the forest, mostly plain pathway. My recommendation is to park your car at the beginning of the forest. The is beautiful, the colors of the water are stunning and also you’ll find a waterfall in the area. You’ll be amazed by the turquoise of the lake. There is also a small place to eat in the area. It’s a must see place. Frumos, natura! Fabulous! It is very easy to get to.You can come by car from Podul Bei till Pastravaria Bei, or you can those 5 km, but avoid doing it on weekends when everybody uses the car. An amazing place in the Nera Gorges protected area, part of a national park. It is a quiet and remote place, that can be easily visited by anyone, as the access is easy. The Nera and Beusnița Canyon is a hidden gem perfect for anyone who loves nature and adventure. Located in southwestern Romania, this area offers a stunning escape from the city. The Nera Canyon trail is a pleasant alongside a beautiful turquoise river, with exciting tunnels carved through the rock walls. It's a peaceful hike, ideal for enjoying the quiet beauty of the forest. A short detour leads you to the magical Beusnița area. Here, you'll find the stunning Beusnița Waterfall and the crystal-clear Eyes of Beus lake. The water is so clear it feels like a fairy tale. Come prepared with comfortable shoes and water. This is an unforgettable spot that truly lets you connect with nature. it's important to note that the leading to the national park is quite challenging. The final part of the drive, which takes you to the villages of Sasca Romană or Potoc, can be a real test for drivers. You'll be on narrow, winding village roads that have many potholes in some sections. Beautiful lake, very clear water that creates beautiful colors, can't enter this specific place to the water The place is a natural wonder. Really beautiful. Really wonderful. And the waterfalls above it complement the experience to make the place magical. But the there… they say it s a hike, but most people drive for the most part of the trip, because they are lazy and because they are allowed to, but regardless of their reasons, the fact that what should be an enjoyable hike through the woods listening to the music of a quick mountain river is more like walking along a busy street in a major town, makes the experience much less enjoyable. Not only the lake, but also the 30 minutes to it were excellent. Very silent place, you just feel in the middle of the nature. If you come from Oravița by car (not an suv or similar), expect to find a terrible road, with a lot of holes. Also, when you hit the unpaved road, there are two options: by foot, for ~6km to the and by car, for ~4km to the trout and then by foot for ~2km to the lake. Note that the 4km unpaved is not so friendly with your car, it took 30 minutes to pass it. Hihetetlen, de tényleg olyan gyönyörű kék a víz színe, mint a képeken 😁 It was fantastic that blue turqoise colour. There are times when Im actually proud of this beautiful country Romania where I am from. People should take more care of it because turism can be a really nice venue for us. We should pay more attention to it Este o oaza de liniste, unde te poti desprinde de cotidianul zilnic si de galagia urbana de zi cu zi. Locul perfect de unde sa iti incepi ziua cu o cafea buna si un moment de acalmie. Truly amazing place. Easy walking path. The car to the parking can be challenging. It's truly fascinating the colour of the lake, the to it took 30min, you can only on foot, on the right side there is a small stream flowing, the entire in the shade of the trees, there are signs so you can't get lost.
