Unfortunately, there was no water, so no waterfall. This place is beautiful, but you should schedule your visit here when the is alive. Kind of sad to see it without water, but anyway you have the Lake in the area, Ochiul Beiului Lake. The most amazing in Romania with nice views and landscapes, flowers and trees. The road it s very long but overall is a good experience and nice memories. There are no toillets or little shop. It's in the middle of the wood. O cascada mult mai frumoasa ca Bigar, cu conditia sa curga apa. Daca nu e apa, e o bucata de stanca, ca oricare alta. On 8 of June it had NO WATTER!. Still, is beautiful, it forms another somehow between Beusnita and Ochiul Beiului. In a hot summer day, it's a perfect spot to visit! Not far if you choose to walk from the restaurant onwards, otherwise if you park at Podul Beiului, it is a long walk back and forth, though not demanding otherwise. The was dried up, whether by drought or by the river changing course, I don't know. The area is anyway, but it would be good if it was kept a bit better and that money for entrances was used for some maintenance (10 lei per person + 20 for a car). Din cauza secetei nu am avut parte de frumusețea căderii apei, dar drumul, pădurea a fost extraordinară. Am trecut de Ochiul Bei si destulnde repede am ajuns la cascadă. It is not one of the biggest waterfalls I've seen but nevertheless that did not stop it from making you drop your jaw. If you are lucky you could see a rainbow in its water if you arrive at the right time. I was there in the afternoon. There is also a small cave right within the and you can sneak inside for a bit. It's refreshing on a hot summer day and if you have a flashlight you can watch the water fall INSIDE the waterfall. A must see if you visiting this part of România. Walking is about 8km from the Fish Farm -path it's not difficult. Is an absolute gem of nature and you find yourself in a wild protected area where nature is at it's Best. Its an amazing waterfall.
