The host was super warm, chef spoke no English but food is universal. Room was beautifully furnished with air-condition and high ceiling. Mini bar and coffee are stocked and on the house which was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here again and looking forward to returning with my wife. Note: you must inform the chef ahead of time of any specific breakfast items so that he can buy ingredients and prepare accordingly otherwise, toast; fruits, coffee and croissants are always available. Also the drive to the hotel does take you off tarmac and on to a hilly dirt path but manageable with most cars. Had my wedding here and stayed for a week, amazing venue! Recommend it to everyone! I’ve had my wedding here on the 6th of August 2023, and the venue and the food is a dream, every single guest was impressed however for us who had to organise it, dealing with the owner of the Villa was impossible. He promises so much initially and then the more time goes he keeps backing out of things. He is extremely selfish and not professional. We wanted to rent a room for little kids to be able to go to sleep at a certain time until it will be time for everyone to go home however he would only allow people that stay full night to enter the area above. When I asked him if he had just simple garden cushions for the benches to put kids to rest he wouldn’t even give us the cushions even though the wedding planner advised they had them but the owner didn’t want to give them to us. The place is absolutely stunning but not worth the stress of dealing with the owner. However I would 100% recommend Gran Catering who does food at Villa Nena as it was outstanding! They do weddings on a couple of different villas so would definitely recommend getting a Villa where they cater as long as it’s not Villa Nena.
