We were recommended to try this restaurant by friends who live nearby. We went for lunch to give it a try. It was a busy place but there are lots of tables in a very comfortable setting. Service was fast and friendly, and she explained many of the dishes to us. The food was OK, I would not say it was outstanding, especially for Italy. The menu changes every day, so maybe it would be better another day, but my wife's risotto was a failure, and my lamb was basically bone and gristle. We were expecting something much better. Beautiful restaurant with excellent local food and courteous service. The pastas are excellent. On Fridays they serve excellent and fresh seafood. The restaurant is very busy so you need to book in advance. Very welcoming place, with lovely staff and tasty dishes! Would come back! Great value for money for a short, daily changing menu of local produce. Delicious pasta with simple sauce and home grown tomatoes; a platter of thinly sliced roast veal and salad beautifully presented. Local wines at reasonable prices. Under 20 EUR per person. Make sure to book as it's very popular!! Oh wow. Showed up on fish Friday at 11:45 AM and they graciously seated us for lunch. Almost every table in this authentic Italian restaurant had a name plate reservation card on the 20 or so tables. We had a whole sea bream and a bowl of lightly fried sardines and octopus. The house wine was delicious too. We stopped in for a drink - so friendly!! Snacks offered with our drinks. Beautifully decorated. The meals looked great that the b&b guests were enjoying!! I have now been to this restaurant five times, the food is always very good and the menu is always different. It always full at lunch time, but there are plenty of tables. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. I always look forward to eating there and never disappointed. Friday fish lunch is a must…. But may need to book as it can get very busy. Lunch on other days is very good, and highly recommended. If just stopping in for refreshments, the beer is good, soft drinks are expected, and coffee is very good… often with snacks in the evening. We have been visiting the area for the last 12 years, and always pop in here at least once…. And the service is always great, friendly and continues to go for strength to stretch each year…… …..
