Along the route, there are both built-in and nature-shaped places to eat. Limestone formations at the end of the route. Easy to move around. Partly the runs along the edge of cliffs. Suitable for all ages. I would have liked the to be a little longer. Très joli bois avec une possibilité de grande marche ou ballade.. A real hidden gem and fabulous walk, although you do need to be quite steady on your feet for some parts. Takes you from Monte Mar all the way down to the AP7 through terrain that you'd not recognise as Algorfa. Fairly well sign posted (markings on trees and rocks) This is truly a hidden gem. The contrast of landscapes is stunning. We walked from algorfa to la finca ,then back to montemar where we joined the trail. The markings on the trees and stones keep you on track. You need to be fairly agile as there are a few places where you need to be careful and watch your footing. The down side is where you come out. This is the camino at the roundabout near benijofer at the AP7. This meant we had to back along the busy main road to algorfa in the scorching heat. The whole circuit was 14kms . this trail but would adv Nice scenery with surprises. Easy/moderate walk. Take care when it's raining or has been raining.(Can we slippery then) Total if you do it from Algorfa as a circular is 23 k. It is a charming picturesque path, quite easy to walk, even for a moderately trained person like myself. It is well marked, you won’t get lost. You don’t need hiking boots, it’s enough with comfortable sandals with good grip. BUT! (this is going to sound very naive) IT IS VERY HOT! 😄 So if you are not very tolerant to heat don’t go there in the middle of the day in summer. I was hoping for the shadow and for the breeze, but no, no breeze there, and shadow doesn’t really help. So unfortunately I couldn’t as long as I would like to.
