Great bar with nice comfy seats for watching football games, unfortunately the photo is of Arsenal in the F. A Cup but it was 0-0 at this point. This was an amazing bar. Very clean and tidy. We were there when they had the bootleg take that. (Who were fabulous) The bar was full to the brim but still the staff managed to serve everyone. A trendy fun place to go. I will go again as the atmosphere was electric. We didn't try any food. Went along in the evening for a couple of cocktails. Was not disappointed. Recommend the Long Island Iced Tea for the hardened cocktail drinkers. Service was very good and attentive. Price per drink at 8 euros, well worth it. Great bar. We left The Plaza, new bar Balu as Malu Park isn’t open on a Monday. Arrived at Chemies at 12:15am for n our way home. We entered the bar to be told ‘we’re closed’, I’d Googled before we left Balu to ensure it was open. We were treated terribly, refused service by the bar person, a dark haired Scottish man. He said we were drunki don’t drink alcohol and he squared up to our friend who has had a stroke and has biopolar. This was embarrassing as the bar was busy and we didn’t understand why this was the case. We are on holiday for 5 days, regularly to Villa Martin and have visited this bar before. Very disappointing, the bar person needs to review his behaviour towards people. We won’t be visiting again. Simply the best bar around for atmosphere and service. The staff look after you and the other customers are as friendly as they come. A GREAT place to spend time whether watching sport or just relaxing. Really enjoyed this place. Modern and nice.
