Had a celebration 🍾 here nice venue The barn & parking, fab staff I appreciate clubs have to undertake maintenance such as hollow coring but in its current condition the 18 holes possibly shouldn't be open, or at least not charging what they do. Almost all greens were unplayable or temporary. Saying that you can tell the green keepers take good care of the course and I'd like to return once the work has been completed. Range was decent although with top tracers in every bay it's a little pricey. Food menu was missing items unfortunately but there seems to be a decent drink selection. Staff were very friendly Kudos to the ground keeper and his/her team. The course was in excellent condition and much better than a few other courses we played in Surrey in the last couple of months . Clearly a lot of work has gone into this to ensure the high standard. The club is very welcoming and great value for money. I play the 9-hole course occasionally on a pay-and-play basis. It’s generally in good condition and the layout is fairly varied. My only criticism is the state of some of the tee areas, which are quite uneven. It would be good if some of the tee areas could be levelled and if the tee markets could be moved a bit more often. This course is under-rated. Plays the 18 today, fantastic condition (especially compared to a lot of London clubs at the moment). Good rate of play, friendly patrons. Good course design, bit of water, undulating green. Good day out! I will definitely be coming back and sooner rather than later. Absolutely rubbish place ,turned up with my son to play the 9 hole and was told that they could not book me in because it had to be done online and that they could not do it at reception , they point blank refused to book me in , so i sat down to do it on my phone and when i showed them it wouldn't let me book it online they said come to reception and they would book it there , i said that is mental you just told me you could not do it and they just said well that's how it is . After all that i wanted to pay cash and they refused to take that and said we will not accept cash which is crazy but if they choose not to take my money in the future then i am more than happy not to go back and hopefully they struggle in the future by choosing not to take peoples cash and rather than be sheep and follow what the government tell them they re think and go back to the good old days when the customer had choice and was made to feel wanted and had a pleasant experience , which i certainly did not this time round. Will not be returning for sure . I had a wake for my husband at the Barn. Amber who arranged is was so helpful. The staff , food and venue were excellent, would highly recommend it. thank you once again. Played a friendly inter club game today, very impressed with the course, in very good condition apart from the bunkers...stones in the fairway bunkers full of stones which could be very easily raked out.greens were great ..9 out of 10 for the course and staff in and out of the clubhouse. Would recommend to anyone.and hope to play there again soon.
